Humboldt Seed Organisation – Blue Dream

This cross of Blueberry and Haze is known for its very pleasant fruity- tangy- earthy taste, blue color, and strong and lasting, mixed mind and body high. The high starts with a sativa high and finishes around 3 hours later with a relaxing indica like muscle easing and pain killing effect.

It is one of the favorites in California and in fact it is among the top ten most demanded strains in there, which gives a good measure about the quality of this jewel. Taste is described by users as sweet, tangy, lemony, and earthy. Produces big plants that grow fast and wide, and it is appropriate for commercial purposes.

Type: Sativa dominant
Outdoor harvest: Mid October
Outdoor yield: Very high
Flowering: 9 weeks
Indoor yield: High
THC: 18%

Delicious Seeds – Black Russian

The Black Russian strain has potent medicinal effects resulting from crossing a White Russian with a spectacular Black Domina mother which enhances the organoleptic qualities of the Russian, improving its structure, and, of course, its taste and smell. The Domina mother used for this strain is a real jewel and well known among the best growers across Spain. Its descendants are really impressive; compact plants yet well-branched (especially outdoors) making it one of the great Indica yielders. Furthermore, it offers a salad of tastes and smells ranging from tropical fruit to hints of sweet aromatic candy.

GreenProto’s Blue Dream First Grow Journal – 2016

Plant of the Month: March 2017

    Hello dear 420 Community,

This is my FIRST grow. And I hope people will be forgiving and helping. All help is very appreciated, since I have NO ONE to ask for help and guidance.
    From Canada.

I’ve received a present from a very good friend – A full growing system with almost all equipment and many (but all) nutes.
I’ve since been doing a LOT of reading about the whole growing process – From A to Z.

    My Growing Cabinet

    Lights:
    For Veg – (x2) Sun Blaster 24W T5 Lights.
Flowering – EYE Hortilux 600W HPS

    Space:
Didn’t measure the Cabinet, but its approx 2 x 1.5 (in meters)

    Medium:
40% Miracle Gro, 60% Coast Of Maine
I screwed that one up. And understood that MG is bad. (Although MANY say it’s cool and they get good results)

    Nutes:
I got from my friend an Incomplete set of nutes, and I’m not sure if I should complete the Holland series or The B.C ones. Help?

Note: I gave my first and only feeding so far at

45% strenght because of the “Hot” Soil, at 271 PPM.

Because of MG slow release crap, I gave my first feeding only at week 3 of veg, and because all posts and articles I’ve read say:
“Less is more”, and the biggest mistake done by first growers is burning the girls with nutes. So I took the safe route.

    Notes:
-I have a Humidifier since it’s winter and the humidity is low. Cabinet closed pretty tight, so it runs on a low setting.

-Both germinated in 2.11, and planted in 6.11 DIRECTLY into those 2 gallon pots.
(It’s a noob mistake, and I was very angry with myself for not learning about planting in the right pot size. Yeah, a noob.)

-Both girls were topped 8 days ago (04/12/16)

-I keep the temperature between 20-24 degrees. Humidity at

40% (Not optimal. I think however that the old Thermometer I got is lying. Buying a new one tomorrow.

    Dec 12th, 2016 – Week 5 of 18/6 Light Schedule

She’s the big one, and develops the fastest.

Are they looking good for 5th week of Veg?

I will receive and take very seriously all feedback from this amazing community. I feel like I do have a VASTLY better understanding about the growing process, however, It is such a deep subject, with so freaking many details. I find it amazing and fascinating!

And. I will soon post the pics I took from the beggining of the grow.
